“ Stopped in for a fantastic BBQ sandwich on their Texas toast style bread. The BBQ was excellent, the bread was lightly toasted on their grill and very flavorful. Opted for the scoop of coleslaw on top of the barbecue, a side of potato salad and a Coke. Just a perfect BBQ lunch in a cozy location. Five stars! ”
“ A great classic BBQ place. Get there early before they run out of your favorites! A sign of good BBQ is they run out early and have a full house of locals. The meat is amazing and the sides are good. ”
“ It's a great lunch spot and they will get my money anytime ”
“ This place is pretty easily one of the best BBQ joints I've ever visited - and you can tell by the lines out the door during lunch time. It's a cafeteria style order which makes it quick and easy to point and chose what you want. Prices are super reasonable since it's obvious that it's a mom and pop store. Get there early to avoid the lines and to get a table, or else you'll be eating standing up which I see some people do, or they sit on the sidewalk curb outside - ya, it's that good! Picture/taste in your mind a Sonny's BBQ that's 10 times better and 10 times more selection of sides, meet cuts, succulence, etc. ”
“ They are only open for lunch because they are that good. It's always busy and I can see why! I grew up in rural NC and this is a taste of home. Smokey, tender meats with a variety to choose from and delicious side options too. The catfish is a hidden gem here if you enjoy a good piece of fried fish! Highly recommend. ”
“ Oh my... Just had pork, potato salad and fries. Great barbecue place, great for the family and moderate price. I heard so much about this place and finally made it. **Check hours of Operation** ”
“ I’ve been going here for 2 years now, and the level of food has never changed. At the end of your meal you will clear your plate, sit back in your chair, and let out a sigh of satisfaction. Heads up, Durham location beats the Cary location any day ”
“ This place has an awesome BBQ smell as soon as you walk in the door. First time visit, but will not be the last. We enjoyed the Turkey, Sausage, Brisket, and pulled pork. All were great in taste and texture. Sweet BBQ sauce was very tasty. Not a fan of the potato salad. Baked Beans were fantastic. ”
